2010-3-5 Science Of Sounds Meets Todd Bodine @ Lantern

Born in the German capital of electronic music, Todd Bodine is considered internationally one of the most representative artists in the world of techno and house.

One long list of music record companies like Trésor, Highgrade Records, Immigrant, Treibstoff , Tongut, Morris/Audioa and others were responsible for publishing the works of this great artist, characterized by his productions of various styles of works, such as techno, house and electro. Now resident of the prestigious and the absolute essential club of Trésor in Berlin, Todd Bodine and his live-set have visited numerous clubs in Europe.

We have the pleasure, on the 5th of March to present Todd Bodine for the first time in China, at the Science of Sounds party staged in Lantern club. He will be accompanied by our resident artists M.Ross (Science Label, Soundfate) Shen Yue (Science Label) and Lupen (Science Label), and also for this special ocasión a session from Weng Weng (Acupuncture Records).

It gives us great pleasure to be with all of you for this special night, full of intense and beautiful sound emotions, where the visuals will also add its dose of unique and essential magic to celebrate with everyone the 3rd Anniversary of Science of Sounds.

After the dinner, three DJs have one objective: Lupen and M.Ross from Barcelona along with Shen Yue will be responsible to make us get on our heels and enjoy non-stop music on the dance floor. Each of their sessions would give us the best among the numerous styles of electronic music, including in all of them, a very high-level of “groove”; for example from the most energetic and melodic Detroit techno, the most refined and elegant tech & minimal house, to electro all with purely analogue tones.

The greatest and most avant-garde specialists in the fantastic world of visual arts, with their original and refined artistic level, are no others than Marula and Bruno, two Vjs that have been progressing and evolving within their field of work.

For the people that witnessed our birth on New Year’s Eve, for those who missed it, and for all the hidden Beijing breaks lovers, we are proud to present the next “IN BASS WE TRUST!”.
For the first time in China and leading a very special lineup, this next round comes with a dj set from EZ ROLLERS, one of the legends in Drum and Bass. All the way from the UK, EZ ROLLERS have produced milestone tracks such as “Tough at the top” and “RS2000″. If you already know the name, what more can we say?. SOS is celebrating its 2nd year anniversary on 7th Feb 2009!
For the occasion no less than 5 international artists will share the stage of the event at BLOCK8!
