We are proud to announce that The Science Of Sounds & Science Label will be Closing the Side Flat stage in Clockenflap Festival 2011.

From The Science of Sounds family we are so thankful to the Clockenflap Festival organizers and the Hong Kong team who made this possible.

For The Science Of Sounds – Science Label it’s been almost a year being based in Hong Kong, promoting quality electronic music with the unique mission of sharing our love for the music, we promise to carry on with this mission and stay tuned because 2012 will be full of surprises.

The two artist in charge of representing The Science Of Sounds-Science Label in Clockenflap Festival 2011 will be:

Frank Costello is the new musical project of Xavier Canet (Eclec Sonde), owner and resident DJ in Lola Shanghai. This club which has found its own place in the Shanghainese club scene.
He is the owner of Subconce Records label founded in 2003, Eclec Sonde has published most of his work under his own label, and in such others as Level Non Zero (owned by the artist Pascal FEOS), Paso Music (owned by Marc Miroir) or the legendary German label Harthouse for his work as a digital label format, among many others.
Under his new alias as Frank Costello, the label Four Records will publish his new and first release with much more musical character house and tech-house with more classic shades of House from Chicago and Detroit.
On Saturday December 16th at HAZE Club in Beijing, Frank Costello will be accompanied in the dj booth by two of our resident dj’s from The Science Of Sounds, M. Ross and Lupen for a night of the three artists with the best dance music.

Moving to the United States at the age of 18, Paulo’s bumped into the crazy ass duo Soul Clap within the first weeks of being there. They threw weekly parties together and started designing the main ideas behind Airdrop Records. Two years later, in 2007, Paulo went on to work for a couple of years in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This was the beginning of an endless string of high caliber gigs for Paulo and the Airdrop crew. Between a residency at NYC’s Bar 13 to label showcases at Miami’s WMC, Detroit’s Movement Festival, Berlin’s Weekend Club and performances at Social Club in Paris and Arena in Berlin, Paulo leads Airdrop’s musical path into the night, lifting the crowds into higher spheres of (un)consciousness.

His experience as a label-head got other prestigious labels to employ him, getting Paulo to manage !K7 Records and give a new artistic direction to Tresor Records, the two seminal Berlin labels.

His expert music is reflecting this. From deep or jacking house in a contemporary context, to gripping and driving peak time fodder, Paulo has it all somewhere up his slick sleeves.

And for this night, in Hong Kong at club Bassment on December 17^th, Lupen from Science Label with Wendy Wenn from The Science Of Sounds Hong Kong will play with Paulo for a great night with the best selection of House and Techno music.

Desprès del seu primer treball per la cinquena referència de Science Label anomenat “Scientific Methods”, ens visita per primera vegada l’artista nacional Aiken per la nostra cita amb el showcase del segell amb base a Beijing.
Gracies a un release marcat per el seu so particular de deep-techno amb matisos procedents del techno de Detroit, on l’artista també nacional anomenat Architectural efectuava un remix per el track ‘Conclusion’, Aiken va obtenir una amplia acceptació per part d’artistes de la talla de Kirk Degiorgio, Vince Watson, Stacey Pullen, Santiago Salazar o Peter Van Hoesen entre d’altres.
Recentment, Aiken ha publicat el EP ‘Mer’ a un dels segells mes importants actualment del panorama nacional com es Semantica Records.

DIGITAL 21 is Miguel López Mora. Musician, singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, director of video clips, visual designer and filmmaker from the 90′s that has worked tirelessly in Spain as a pioneer of electronic music.

DIGITAL 21, along with artists such as Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails, Richie Hawtin, Mogwai, Sasha, John Digweed, DJ Krush, or Hot Chip, is one of the official artists worldwide in Ableton Live.

Recently, DIGITAL 21 has remixed in the one of the best electro labels called

Datapunk the track “Mother” produced by Anthony Rother.

After his live performance and his conference about video art on the session to be held at the Instituto Cervantes, Digital 21 live set in HAZE Club is a unique opportunity to witness the performance of this renowned Spanish artist.

Like a mirror, Marco Spiegel aka Marc Miroir, has been reflecting the current vibrations of
the electronic music scene in his artistic output for 15 years.

He doesn´t restrict himself to a mere reflection, but also adds on loads of his own
innovative elements, which he reflects to the world of music.

As a DJ, producer and label-owner (of Paso Music), he has been around the scene on a
national and international level since 1993 and is therefore far from being a flash in the
pan or a one-hit-wonder. He has regular top 20 rankings in the annual Groove-poll as

most popular national DJ or bookings by the big stages like Nature One,

For this occasion, we have a special 4 hours set by the dj and producer Sistema (Science Label, Natura Sonoris, Bedrock),. He will offer us a deep and intense review of all electronic music that nowadays can be considered essential for any lover of the genre.

For this great occasion, Sistema will be accompanied as usual by our resident dj Wendy Wenn. She will show her talent behind the decks in a night fully focused towards the return to the roots of electronic dance music.

The Science of Sounds comes back to Beijing after a crazy summer in Europe (Stuttgart and Barcelona) and Hong Kong.  And now we will have regular events in the Moog club (Barcelona).
Our Djs have been around these clubs and come back with lots of new music and vibes that will melt perfectly, as always, with Beijing’s crowd.

Our next Science of Sounds party will be at the new Lantern club in Beijing on Saturday 15th October, where we will have a line up that will be counting with Sistema after his show at Sonar Festival in Barcelona. He was already in the old Lantern in 2010 and now he joins us again to offer us his distinctive dj set, experimenting with special sounds like no other while mixing house and techno. Together with visuals by Xponja and well known The Science of Sounds dj residents Lupen and M.Ross the night promises to be full of quality electronic dance floor music.
