impulse

hector-impulseAs of 2000 impulse becomes part of the resident’s crew of the Night Sun Group and is considered one of the most common visitors to the night clubs Discothèque and La Terrrazza, with La Terrazza being ranked best club of the world in 2001 by Music Magazine. With gigs by djs like Steve Bug, Luke Slater, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Pascal FEOS, Martinni Brös, Laurent Garnier and many more in La Terrazza. In both clubs he shared his residence with Sergio Patricio (Rambla Sound), Xavi_VII, Cad (Mother Fuckers), Richie Slow (New Age), D’Julz (20:20 Vision, Serial Records-France) and Sideral (Hit Kune Do).

Consequently, he starts playing in national clubs and later on begins collaborations in Amnesia (Ibiza) as part of the Amnesia Ibiza dj’s World Tour, which leads him to play in different countries. He collaborates with Dav and Pelucas (La Terrrazza) and creates the E3 project. They consider this project the union of three different ways to understanding electronic music, but with extensive experience on the dance floors and a clear common goal: to express it all in only one concept. Within the E3 project they have edited several pieces and compilations: Músicos Motivados Para Un Mundo Mejor and B_Parade02.

In January 2002 he moved to Alicante and, together with Ismael Yáñez, creates Freegroup, an agency for hiring and promoting events, settled in Barcelona and Levante. They organized parties in clubs like Cube_Club (Barcelona), Varadero (Alicante), Before_After Club (Alicante), Z_Club (Alicante) and festivals such as B_Parade2002 (Barcelona) and Sun Parade03&04 (Valencia).

Throughout the
years they have been working in festivals like Mecal_00 (Barcelona), Senglar Rock01 (Tarragona), B_Parade01&02 (Barcelona), Electro Espai 02 (Granollers), Stress_Sound02 (Zaragoza), Sun Parade03&04 (Valencia), Los Carnavales de Tenerife 2004 and Solar Sound 04 (Palm Beach Club, Girona).

From the perspective of his music, his sets can be classified as organics and eclectics and he likes to call them micro-tech-funk. The versatility in his sets let him change from a rhythmic sound into a deeper an atmospheric one. With an observant dance floor psychology, he always tries to be effective and shocking in his sets.
